Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 29 July 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of the LexReply service, operated by Jones Smith, a sole trader based at Kingston, Jamaica, trading as LexReply. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Intake only — no legal advice
LexReply is an AI receptionist for intake only. No legal advice. The service answers calls, collects caller details, qualifies enquiries and books appointments on your behalf. It does not create an attorney–client relationship, does not provide legal, financial, medical or tax advice, and its output must be reviewed by a qualified professional before being relied on.
2. Call recording and consent
Users must comply with call recording laws and obtain consent. You are the controller of the calls placed to your numbers and are solely responsible for:
- Determining whether one-party or all-party consent applies in each relevant jurisdiction;
- Providing any required recording notice or disclosure to callers;
- Obtaining and evidencing consent before recordings or transcripts are stored;
- Honouring caller requests to stop recording or to delete their data.
LexReply is not a HIPAA covered entity and the service must not be used to collect protected health information as a business associate.
3. Prohibited use
- Unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or harassing activity, including unsolicited outbound calling or spam;
- Impersonating a licensed attorney, a court, a government body or any other person;
- Using the AI to generate legal advice, filings or opinions presented to callers as authoritative;
- Uploading malware, probing, scanning or otherwise interfering with the security of the service;
- Infringing intellectual property or privacy rights, or scraping or reselling the service;
- Attempting to jailbreak, circumvent usage limits, or reverse engineer the assistant or platform.
4. Your content and callers
You must have the rights to any scripts, documents, names and marks you supply, and you are responsible for the accuracy of the intake instructions you configure. You remain responsible for how you use recordings, transcripts and extracted data after delivery.
5. Enforcement
We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate access for material breach of this policy, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations. Where practical we will give notice first, but urgent or unlawful matters may be acted on immediately.
6. Reporting and contact
Report suspected misuse, rights infringement or a takedown request to LexReply@gmail.com. Billing and refunds are handled by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com.
